The "Silk Purse" started life in the 60's as a 10x40 mobile home. Easy vehicle access and fast wifi are great for remote work. 20 minutes to Brattleboro, 30 to Stratton, 25 to Mt. Snow, 40 to Magic Mt. ski areas! The screened porch is a relaxing place to have coffee or cocktails. Located on the shore of Tully Pond, The Fishing Cottage is a designed vacation home with breathtaking views of Tully Mountain. This 4-season Cottage has real salvaged barn wood walls; up-cycled maple floors and one-of-a kind scratch built furniture and lighting fixtures. The deconstructed architecture leaves exposed the electrical conduit and copper plumbing pipes, making the cottage feel alive and organic.

Stay at our relaxing, mid-century retreat! The house was built in the 60s but has modern amenities. A 4-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended. Our house is conveniently located 7 miles from Stratton and 12 miles from the outlets/restaurants in Manchester. Floor to ceiling windows provide a stunning view of the property. Please note, the house has a non-working fireplace.
