This old farmyard has undergone a beautiful restoration. The open space & scenery all around here is stunning, with the Devils Bit mountain as a backdrop. It is a really peaceful spot. There is a large, enclosed yard space and an open shed area with lights & seats, and a roofed kids play area. 200 year old cottage in a rural setting 25 minutes from Limerick City. A convenient stopover between east and west coasts, and a good base for visiting the Rock of Cashel, King John’s Castle, Adare and Bunratty. Or as a destination in itself if you want to see how they lived long ago and want a few quiet days away. The house still has the old mud walls and thatched roof, but has been upgraded to suit twenty-first century living.
