Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sitting on the Hogback on a small Isthmus in Barry county. The only “mountain” in the county. Amazing views and always a breeze blowing. 3 bedrooms, a full size kitchen, two sitting rooms, 2 bathrooms (one full, one half) , all in this 100 year old cottage. Overlooking amazing wetlands. The birds in the area are amazing, sand hill cranes stop here as they migrate, bald eagles, loons, ospreys, waterfowl and even an occasional golden eagle.

Crooked lake located in Delton, MI has a lot to offer and is centrally located between Lansing, Kalamazoo, and Grand Rapids. We are a great place to stay during off-season as well! Our cottage is near Yankee Springs which offers hiking, fishing, hunting, mountains biking, and snowmobiling. UPDATES: New refrigerator. New kitchen faucet with spray nozzle. New BBQ grill. Water’s Edge-Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, No Fees

Tranquil lake living! The Water’s Edge is a great way to enjoy the lake. It is right on the water with kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and a canoe to venture out with. The hot tub accommodates 6 people. The sunroom has beautiful views as well as a couple of beds that can be used if the weather is nice. There is nothing better than falling asleep to lake sounds and a pleasant breeze! Please no college partyers.

The lookout inspired Outpost Treehouse (not actually attached to a tree) sits in a white pine forest in the middle of a 50 acre active farm. The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”!
