Motherby House is an 18th century grade II traditional farmhouse, the house has lost none of its original charm. Hooks embedded in oak beams show where bacon was once cured and log fires add to the warm homely atmosphere. Families are always welcome. Unwind and relax in our oak beamed living room with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and a selection of home made cakes. There is off road parking and secure storage for cycles. The hamlet of Motherby, is positioned between Penrith and Keswick.

The private entrance means the space is completely your own so kick back and enjoy a bit of TV or film, or find out more about the area and it's history The main room has a comfortable king size bed, TV and seating area. A cosy cottage bedroom at Larriston Farm - a mid 19th century farm steading around a cobbled courtyard. We're 20 minutes' drive from Kielder and the observatory, and Newcastleton, in a very rural setting amongst fields, woods, hills and rivers. Dogs welcome. We offer breakfast and you're welcome to use the kitchen to cook a light evening meal. We have two double rooms - check our other listing too if there's more than two of you.

The house is situated on a quiet cul de sac in Kendal, a 10/15 min walk from the mainline train station, Oxenholme Station, and a 20-25 minute walk into town. The bedroom is on the ground floor with an ensuite private shower room. We are close to the hospital, ideal if need somewhere to stay if you are working there for a week or two. Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.

Self contained Pied a Terre in Leafy Jesmond

This Pied a Terre is next door to St Mary's Chapel and Jesmond Dene. It's a 5 minute stroll to lovely places for breakfast, drinks or an evening meal. Transport links are excellent, the metro into the city centre, metro centre, the airport and the coast is a 10 minute walk. You’ll love my place because of the location, it really is perfect. Parking is available and there is easy access to motorways both north and south.
