Ideal for walkers, we are less than a mile from the South West Coast Path. Although very rural, we are within walking distance of two pubs, the New Inn at Veryan and The Ship at Portloe. The village shop & post office are at Veryan for your added convenience.

Our Beautiful shepherds Hut is set within the grounds of our home, A 10 minute walk from Tehidy woods. Close to portreath beach (2 Miles) and a 10-20 minute drive to Hayle, St Ives and many other sandy beaches. Explore the coastal paths, spectacular nature and Lighthouse at Godrevy or simply dine al fresco on the decking . Hand built and designed by local craftsmen, with no near neighbours other than my house. Beautiful views over the valley and situated next to a lake which boasts a variety of wildlife including Kingfishers Geese Moorhens & Ducks. Only 20 minutes from many beaches on the North & South coast. The hut contains a shower and toilet woodburning stove mini kitchen and a comfy kingsize bed. Outside area with BBQ secure parking and there's a boiler room/garage for storing bikes and boards.

I spent 19 months in a shed making this from scratch, and it has my heart. It's designed to meld the security of home with the whims of the wild. There's a bus windscreen above the bed for star/cloud gazing, your own private woodland clearing, a woodburner, and all you need for good dining. It's totally secluded, you won't see anyone or visa versa. Now featuring a hot outdoor shower among the trees, running hot water inside, and Wi-Fi for the WFH crew.
