Cosy cottage in Eskdale sleeps 4, Great views

This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. There is a smart tv and new unlimited WIFI for streaming you favourite films.

Cosy two bedroom holiday let set on a working Herdwick sheep farm situated in the picturesque Wasdale valley within the Lake District National Park. The cottage is set on the shores of Wastwater and so offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills. It is the perfect starting point for numerous Wainwright walks. Cosy cottage with parking

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
