Our "cottage" is located right on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometer away from the neighbors and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! "Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. In our accommodation, old and new are combined, creating a very nice atmosphere. You actually have the opportunity to be together comfortably everywhere. If someone wants to withdraw, that's fine too. In one bedroom, there is a reading corner with a lamp and, of course, a blanket. Or in the dining room there is also a sitting area. The covered terrace is also great to use in the rain

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Vacation home "Zum Bacchus"

Take a vacation in a late Gothic half-timbered house built in 1467. Feel the atmosphere of crooked walls and a floor that reflects the history of the house and its inhabitants. Also enjoy the hospitality of the wine god Bacchus of Bruttig-Fankel. Capacity for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults.
