Be Our Guest at The Whistle House our building was built in 1906. It was home to Whistle Soda Bottling Company. We have renovated the apartment in the building. Relax and Enjoy! We have WIFI, 2 Smart TV's among everything else you could need. Katy depot is .08 miles for Katy trail riders. The Orchard House by Katy Trail

Dubbed the Orchard house since being on Orchard street. This newly renovated stand alone home on a quiet dead end road is just what the doctor ordered. Located just 2 miles to the start of the historic Katy Trail makes this a great spot. Also, we are only minutes away from Truman Lake which boasts some of the best crappie and spoonbill fishing around. A dedicated shed with lock is provided at the back of the home for bike storage. A short walk to the historic square with shopping + eateries!

Truman Lake Family Getaway

Minutes away from Harry S. Truman Dam & Reservoir & the upper end of the Lake of the Ozarks. The lake is a popular fishing destination for crappie, largemouth bass, hybrid stripers, catfish, as well as some of the Nation's finest snagging for spoonbill paddlefish. The surrounding area (110,000 acres) provides plentiful & diverse opportunities, including hiking, horseback riding, golfing, biking, bird watching, off-road vehicle adventures, & some of the best hunting in the country.

This updated downtown retreat has two bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living room, dining room and laundry. Off street parking is behind the house. This property has a large fenced in yard with deck and firepit. Majority of the time you can catch a nice breeze in the backyard while you relax. In the winter you can enjoy the gas fireplace in the living room and stay warm. Downtown is just walking distance way with historic sites and restaurants, coffee shops and shopping.

Enjoy the quiet of the country while you go fishing in the pond, spotting the wildlife, and stargazing at night while enjoying the hot tub. Just five miles from town, right off the blacktop, and three miles from Interstate 49. The top level is a 1900 farmhouse that is being renovated to enlarge the bnb. The walk-out basement is all new and ready for you to have a relaxing, memorable get-away.

This cozy cottage in the woods (completed in June 2017) is perfect for a couple seeking a romantic getaway, enjoying a honeymoon, or celebrating an anniversary. (The sofa is a full convertible bed, if others plan to share the 400+ sq. ft. space.) Located in the Lake Hill (formerly Shadow Lake) Golf Course neighborhood (course is currently closed) about a mile from the NW shores of beautiful Pomme de Terre Lake, and about 6 miles south of Lucas Oil Speedway.

Truman Lake Cabin Super Clean "Private" Getaway!

Quiet serene location! Our personal cabin is located just 400 yards from Truman Lake. Short walk to the cove for wildlife viewing or Higgins' Landing boat launch is just across the highway, and has plenty of parking for vehicle/s, boat trailer, and great bank fishing. Clinton and Warsaw are a 30 min drive, and Iconium is a 12 min drive. Don't forget to look around in the lake feeder creeks, lot's of arrowheads in the area. We now have super fast WI-FI!

Enjoy your own private cottage with all your essentials; You also have access to the property's hot tub and 1 acre pond stocked with catfish, blue gill, and bass! The cottage has a 1 queen size bed and a mattress in the loft . Please note: we do live on this property and the cottage is next to our main house. We have friendly outdoor cats they do freely roam the property.

Relax and unwind amid big woods, creeks, woodland trails, complete with a very large strip pit lake, and smaller lake just mere feet from your private cabin. Use our large covered dock, kayaks, paddle boat, canoe and explore all this huge waterscape and land have to offer. All manner of Missouri wildlife reside here.

Perfect for a couples get away. There's coffee, toaster, basic kitchen essentials, mini fridge with ice cube trays, lawn chairs for the front porch where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning shade in our quiet little escape. No pets
