My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers. Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee is NOT provided. There is a drip coffee maker, as well as a Keurig for pods.

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

This unique place has a style all its own. Conveniently located by the Mississippi River and highway 35. The place gives you a cabin feel close to La Crosse! Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Mt. La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. 15 minute drive to downtown La Crosse and 3 miles North of Stoddard puts you in a great central location for the area. Pets are welcome. Relax into the slower pace of river life. We are located on a laid back street where everyone is ready with a friendly wave or a driveway chat. The boat landing is just a mile away. The house is stylish and comfortable. We hope to provide our guest with whatever the need for a few days away. We are in a high PFAs area so bottled water is provided for guest consumption. Timber Creek Retreat

Get away for a restful stay at this scenic hidden gem of Vernon County. Timber Coulee Creek, a Class 1 trout stream, ripples right through the backyard. You will enjoy watching deer and turkey as they amble through the property. Bald eagles soar overhead and fish jump in the stream. Listen to the gurgle of the water flowing over the rocks and the music of the birds. Try your hand at fly fishing. Sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows, watch the flames dance and the stars come out.

Driftless Yurt on Harmony Ridge

Our little piece of heavan is located 9 miles NW of Viroqua, WI. Our yurt is nestled in 14 acres of red /white oak, walnut and maples above the Bad Axe River. The yurt is 300 sq. ft, comfortably sleeps 4, pet friendly and has a large wrap around deck. We have a wood burning stove, propane cooking stove top, a fully stocked kitchen galley, 8 gallons of drinking / cooking water, propane and fire pit grill, there's an extra deck with picnic table, manual shower and composting toilet.
