A warm welcome to our beautiful grade II listed cottage in the village of Downton. We are located close to the Hampshire/Wiltshire border on the edge of the New Forest National Park and the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury. The sandy beaches of the South Coast are also easily accessible. If you're looking to slow down and unwind or explore all that the surrounding area has to offer, our cottage is a perfect place to stay. Dogs are welcome, but we do have a pet charge of £20 for their stay.

The River Bourne runs close by. The ground floor annexe has a modern but peaceful bedroom with en-suite shower, separate kitchen/living area with double doors on to the patio & a sitting room with sofa bed. Our converted coach house offers a cosy corner in the busy village of Downton from which to visit the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and the open spaces of the New Forest. Parts of the property date back to 1475 with links to the Bishops of Winchester. There is plenty on offer in and around the village, with local shops, gardens, pubs, walks and bicycle rides along the River Avon. Bournemouth beaches are not far away. We welcome dogs for a fee of £20 for up to 2 dogs per stay.
