Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door.
