Sauna cottage in the yard

Come and have a relaxed holiday in our small, idyllic sauna cottage located in the yard of our single-family home by the lake. Trails and jogging trails are just a couple of hundred meters away, and the distance to Himos is only about 6km away. The cottage has its own toilet with a shower (for washing the lower body) and a basic kitchenette. There is a gas grill in the yard. Note!!! There is no shower in the cottage. You can wash using traditional methods. Tent sauna is included in the price. The use of the large sauna is charged 15 e. Feel free to reach out!

Sauna cottage by the lake on the beach

A small and atmospheric sauna cottage on the shore of a clear-watered lake offers a wonderful escape from everyday life. The property has a sandy beach and a swimming dock. You also have access to a sauna, a rowing boat and an outdoor terrace for cooking and dining. The sauna room has a fireplace and an electric heater, so you can stay overnight even in cooler weather. There is room for four guests, as there are two places to stay in the sauna loft and a sofa bed that can be spread down. An outdoor toilet can be found behind the sauna room.

Guest house with its own beach

The guest house is in a great location on the shore of Lake Päijänne. You have a cozy room with a large, covered terrace, a private swimming area, a barbecue, a shower and a toilet. Opportunity to rent a beautiful beach sauna. Beautiful scenery for a big backpack. In winter, the ski trails to the ice start from the yard and there is an ice hole on the beach. Nearby nature trails, Himos, Saunakylä, Petäjävesi's old church, Aalto Museum. A short distance to the main road and bus stop, you can also get there by public transport.

Hirsimökki Hietanen

Hietanen is a summer log building that moved to the Hietasalme, a peninsula between two lakes in the 70s. At the tip of the peninsula is a sandy beach. The wooded areas around the plot belong to the Vehkala Farm. The terrain is a rolling, small-colored moraine that turns into rock or wetter presses in places. There are all types of forest nearby. There is no real swamp in the area. A boat route runs through the strait from Lake Vesanto in the direction of Rautalampi. The water body is especially good for kayaking.

Pihakammari (winter habitable)

Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo municipal hall are 2-3 km away, Muurame church 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, go ahead. Traditional Finnish yard sauna for rent in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There's no wifi in the chamber.

Sunset lakefront old-growth forest guesthouse

This newly-built guesthouse 2024 with comfortable amenities is located in a the middle of old-growth forests, with a private bay and a calm lake with sunset view. It is a place “to adopt the pace of nature”, with the sound and sight of wild nature. During the winter, a local skiing center with sledding place for kids is open for everyone, about 5km from our place. Also, you can enjoy Sauna, walking in forest, ice-fishing. Relaxing in hot tub in this landscape is truly a unique experience.

Close to good transportation. Located near a major highway. Free parking and a large yard, so you can easily come with a larger car. Good bus routes. About 20 minutes from the center of Jyväskylä. The bus stop is a couple of minutes away from the accommodation. Jyväs Linkki route 22. Good outdoor terrain.

Unique and charming little house, "Alapetti"

Stay cheap, but cozy, along your trip. The cottage is located near Route 4 and you can drive to the yard, next to the cabin. The yard is uniquely mentioned, and the cottage has originally been an ancient smoke sauna designed and implemented by graphic designer Laura Matikainen from Belgium. The toilet is an old outdoor shower. Hand washing and water will be delivered. The cottage has a fridge, hot plate, coffee and kettles, pot and disposable dishes

Guest house - bright summer night
