Keitele opens on three sides, there is a beautiful, spacious log villa on the peninsula, and another one closer to the beach. The villa has a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a loft, a bathroom, and a sauna. The beach cottage has 1 room and a sauna. The hot tub is available with a separate agreement and weather permitting, a surcharge of 130 €/week. Amenities: electricity, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, running water from a borehole, fireplace. The place is available from the beginning of October to the middle of December and again from the end of February to the end of April.

Cottage and beach sauna in Päijänne

A lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Päijänne offers peace and comfort for up to 8 people. The premises consist of the main building, a new barn building, and a lakeside sauna. The toilet and running water are located in the main building. The renovated wood-fired sauna and gently sloping beach are suitable for families. A grill, a muurikka, an electric smoker, a rowboat, and fishing gear complete the equipment. The main cabin, which was completed in the 1960s, has been cold in the winter, so the traditional smell and atmosphere of the cottage are a part of it.

A winterized cottage with all the comforts on the lake shore. The cottage's upstairs and downstairs bedroom have double beds and the living room has a sofa that can be spread out to a double bed. The outbuilding has a wood-burning sauna and a sleeping loft with a double bed. (Bath barrel extra charge). Gas grill and wood-fired grill can be found in the yard and you can sit under the lean-to. Easy to get to by public transport. Skating rink in Vesankajärvi in winter and a sledding track. Disc golf course Vesala monttu 2 km, Petäjävesi 20 km. Laajavuori 9 km.

Electrified cottage with a good lake view. Large terrace, summer kitchen, outdoor sauna, fire pit (by agreement), several campfire sites, gas stove, gas grill, refrigerator and a small freezer compartment. Space for a group of 6 people. There is a rowing boat with an electric motor. Running water from the lake. (There is drinking water in a canister in the cottage.) The sauna has electric travel showers. Fishing in the lake and small game hunting (by agreement) is possible. For long-term guests, laundry service is available.

The cottage is well suited for relaxation, fishing or even boating. In the large sauna of the cottage you can admire the flowing water, refreshment is easy in the always open rapids or in the outdoor hot tub. The cottage sits on the peaceful shores of Lake Kivijärvi with evening sun and a relaxing natural setting. The main cottage sleeps 8 with three bedrooms and a sofa bed, bathroom, utility room, kitchen, two toilets, and good storage. The sauna cabin sleeps 6. Comforts include a dishwasher, washing machine, drying cabinet, induction stove, Wi‑Fi, and municipal water. An EV charger is available. A rowing boat with a 6 hp motor is included, and a 150 hp boat can be rented with a separate agreement.

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.
