The Bungalow at Purple Martin Greenway

The coziest stay in the area, this craftsman house is just steps away from the trailhead and minutes from downtown. Filled original artwork and loads of character, it'll have you feeling at home as soon as you enter. Dine by candlelight under the beautiful chandelier. Pick a book to read in one of the comfy club chairs or the chesterfield leather sofa. Sip a glass of wine on the porch. Bluetooth Bose speaker, a library of board games and DVDs, or stream Netflix/Hulu over fiber optic WiFi - there is a smart TV in every bedroom and in the living room. Stocked with luxury linens for bed/bath... I normally check guests in to show them where everything is and to get oriented - then leave to to enjoy yourselves. I’m always happy to assist with setting you up with local services and answer any questions/ help with needs during your visit. The home is in a great location, nested right at the trailhead of the Purple Martin Greenway, yet right off 221 and just minutes from downtown. Walk out of the front door and simply meander, or follow the trail all the way to downtown. The Equestrian Center is just a short drive, and Lake Lure is not far away. Large parking area outside the house - will accommodate an RV, trailer or multiple vehicles.

Hideaway on the peninsula. A well equipped-charming guesthouse, central to everything the area has to offer. Parking 2nd car, boat, jet skis and camper. Near by boat ramp, boat/water sport rentals, restaurants, grocers, breweries, winery, parks, splash pad, shopping, hiking, fishing and historical sites. Located 30 minutes from uptown Charlotte, Birkdale shopping and quaint-small town experiences. An hour or less to state parks/mountainous peaks and towns. Two night min stay on weekends.

This B & B is a beautifully renovated house with 3 bedrms and 2 bathrms on the upstairs floor & a living/dining room/patio/bathrm downstairs, exclusively for your use whether this booking is for 1 or 6 guests. My husband & I are located in a private section of the house, allowing privacy. In the morn, I become your chef & provide a DELICIOUS breakfast.

Small cabin, in a quite neighborhood surrounded by woods and plenty of fresh air. There is a large open yard with an outside wood fire grill. Close to the Blueridge Parkway and great hiking including Wisemans View. Only minutes from the Linville Falls winery and other great local shops and restaurants. Close to all local attractions including rafting, tubing, and biking for the summer months. As well as great skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing for the winter time.
