Home was remodeled in 2022, including new kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops. Home is on bike path that leads to downtown Holland (6 miles) and Grand Haven (14 miles). A couple miles north of home is Sandy Point Beach House restaurant with outdoor bar and seating area. Beautiful area!!

This autumn stay at the DeWitt Cottage. It has a great kitchen. A clawfoot tub. Rockers on the porch. Private deck. Best view between Saugatuck and Holland. And we allow pets with approval. ​ It is right on LAKE MICHIGAN and has a very large PRIVATE BEACH that is shared with the owners and guests. ​ THIS is NOT A CONDO. It is a real cottage (circa 1907), full of color, charm, and history. One of the last of its kind. And don't forget the kids. It's one of the world's deepest sandboxes.

Holland itself has so much to offer with its boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants and of course beautiful beaches on Lake Michigan. We are less than 8 miles from Holland State Park and so close to other Lake Shore attractions. Saugatuck is only 11 miles away, Grand Haven a 23 mile drive, and 29 miles from Grand Rapids, making this a very desirable location!
