The Acorn is on the southern side of Bishops Stortford, roughly 15 minute walk from town centre. There is a river behind you can stroll along, outdoor space, and the room is light and airy. Private gated parking for one vehicle. The place is secluded good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and one well-behaved furry friend (pet). (Please note that the hosts live 15 mins away & not next door). With transport links nearby (bus, train, Stansted airport), the adventure starts here!

The immaculately decorated apartment sleeps up to 4 people with a 2 king size beds, clothes storage, free wi fi & Sky TV (with Sky Sports, Netflix etc). There is a fully equipped kitchen. Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood!

Stansted Airport - Beautiful Annexe with Parking

The Annexe is separate from our house with its own entrance. Basic items are provided i.e. Milk, Tea & Coffee etc. Free parking during your stay. Airport transfers available. We are in a rural location so a car may be needed. If you would like to book the night before your wedding, please contact me to confirm the details. IMPORTANT NOTE: Any anti-sociable behaviour or taking any illegal substances by any member of your group, you will all be dismissed from the property and no refunds given.

The Cabin Near Stansted Airport

The Cabin was created to offer a luxurious stay, equipped with Kingsize bed and luxury bathroom. In the kitchen there is a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, induction hob with pots and pans and a dishwasher. For breakfast you have eggs, fresh milk, bread, and a variety of cereals, jams and spreads. With beautiful armchairs and a bistro table to eat, work or just sit back to enjoy the smart TV with Netflix, BBC iPlayer, etc. Outside there is a small private garden too.

The spacious kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double beds in the same room (one on a mezzanine floor above the other) and a double sofa bed in the dining area.

Ground floor apartment in Bishop's Stortford.

This basic but spacious one-bedroomed annexe is suitable for up to 3 adults or a family of 4 (if one of the children is under 6). Well-behaved dogs are welcome! It is the ground floor of a family house. There is one bedroom that has a double bed, a single bed, and a toddler bed. You will have the flat to yourself but might hear some noise from the family above. It is on a family-friendly street with a big park opposite. We can provide an extra camp bed if needed.

This is a delightful characterful cottage full of original features. Close to all local amenities. There are some beautiful walks in rural countryside nearby. Stansted Mountfitchet station is a three minute walk with trains to Stansted airport (8 minutes), Cambridge (30 minutes) and London Liverpool Street (40 minutes). M11 motorway is 2.5 miles away. A variety of pubs,restaurants, takeaways just a short walk away. There are also shops for groceries nearby.
