We are well situated for hiking, biking (on the doorstep) skiing and lakes (<40 minutes drive). Beach 50min. We are 100m from 2 bus stops. Trains and longer distance buses run from Sulmona, which is 8km away. Buses and trains go often to Rome and Pescara.

Glamping Abruzzo - The Yurt

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.

My accommodation is close to Sulmona, a stone's throw from Lake Scanno and the Abruzzo National Park. My place is good for couples and hikers who love tranquility and nature. Inside the WWF Sagittarius Gorges oasis where bears, wolves, deer, golden eagle, coral croaking and other rare and interesting animals live. There are many species of rare or endemic plants such as the Fjordaliso of Sagittarius.
