Welcome to Bob's Place! Located along the Bagaduce River in Brooksville, Maine. This cozy getaway overlooks a blueberry field and the Bagaduce River with Blue Hill Mountain as a backdrop. The entire home has been newly renovated - kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and decks. Explore the Lobster Capitol of the World (20 minutes), hike Acadia National Park (60 minutes), or sit and relax on the back porch, taking in the serene Maine landscape and wildlife, including White-tailed Deer and Bald Eagles.

The Cottage rests over the end of Penobscot River as it opens into the Bay. The Cottage will comfortably accommodate two. The Cottage has a spacious bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, den and an all season porch with rockers. From Cottage there are views of the water and the lavender gardens. The gardens are terraced with a path down to the sea. The Carriage House Suite is available for an additional fee. it has has two bedrooms, a full bath and a sitting area. It can easily sleep four.

Charming Farmhouse, Brooksville, ME

Herrick Rd. is a beautiful 1900 farmhouse with a very simple, back to basic style. The house looks over Walker Pond (across the street) and echoes wonderful songs of the loon in the mornings. The house has all the basics you will need, and a fully equipped kitchen, including Lobster pots for the stove or outdoor fire pit. There is s gas grill as well. The kitchen stove is an old 3 burner gas unit. It is very basic and very simple to use. There is also a microwave and coffee makers.

Open floor concept, large windows and view of Blue Hill itself from the front porch make this a comfortable place to hang out or base out of for day trips. Passive house certified and winner of Leed project of the year, the Strawberry House (named by our daughter) has huge windows looking onto a field of milkweed and wildflowers. The property is 4 acres and very private; the road is walled off by a thick border of foliage. Behind us is only woods and there are miles of lovely nature trails accessed from the bottom of our field. It's only a 2 mile drive to the center of town Enjoy!
