Just up the road from the village of East Burke, we are close to nearby amenities yet in a quiet hillside surrounded by nature, the perfect location for a weekend getaway, whether you are biking, skiing, hiking or exploring the Northeast Kingdom.

The House of the Setting Sun is a great place to rest, relax & re-energize. Located in a family friendly neighborhood, while still within walking distance to restaurants & close to downtown Newport. The apt has its own dedicated WiFi, easy for working remotely. Downstairs is a room with a ping pong/pool table. It's a quiet, private setting off from West Darling Hill road. Huge sunny deck with grill and picnic table along with comfy seating to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Outside you'll find a sweet fire pit with a woodshed filled to the brim and an outdoor shower and bike wash!

We are happy to welcome you to the Gîte des Arts, a peaceful place located in front of a small ecological lake, in the middle of the forest. It's a perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy activities in the area. Unique artwork, made by local artists, is on display in the gite. You can admire, discover, and acquire them to extend the art experience at home. We believe wellness comes through nature, beauty, and simplicity.
