This completely newly renovated apartment is located in one of the oldest half-timbered houses in Detmold, right in the historic city center. The special charm of this accommodation lies in many details, such as the original preserved wooden framework and the high-quality interior fittings. One double bedroom, sofa bed for 2 people in the living room, dining area, kitchen and bathroom offer plenty of comfort. Accommodation in the pedestrian zone near the market square. Restaurants and cafes right outside the door.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

You have your own staircase. The entrance is shared with us. Note the 30-degree roof slope. The bed with new mattress is 1.40 x 2.00 m. Cotton bedding. You can make beautiful excursions in the area. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.
