The apartment is on the 1st floor and was thoughtfully and beautifully renovated in the spring of 2023. Bed linen, towels, dishcloths, etc. are included in the price.

Jump into the lake from the boat bridge and rinse yourself in hot water overlooking Himmelbjerget. Take your kayak and sail a morning trip and meet the heron. Enjoy your morning coffee in the pavilion with the wood stove on. Read a book in the double bed with a view of the lake or take the mountain bike and ride the route outside the door. Yes, it's tiny. The double bed is tiny (120 cm X 200 cm). The extra bed is tiny. The sink is tiny. But it will not be a tiny experience. The surrounding landscape is huge and plentiful. Private beach, forest and cliff viewpoint within walking distance. Bring your camera and a positive mindset :-)

There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" hygge with large canvas, a game of table football or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

Peaceful country farmhouse

What makes the house special is that it is very quiet and peaceful and close to nature. Furthermore, it is very easy to park and enter the house. It is also dog-friendly and child-friendly. It is a rustic old house and you can easily find a cobweb or a little dust if you look, but is otherwise nice and clean. The beds are good and there is a good kitchen where you can eat. It's a clinic floor. In the living room there is a fireplace and good sofas.
