Sweet farm cottage, Ide Hill, Hever, Edenbridge

Puncheur Place is a semi-detached cottage on a private Estate in the middle of cycling country at the foot of Ide Hill nr Hever. It is quiet yet accessible to dozens of pubs/golf. The garden is west facing and large. Perfect for outdoor picnics. The cottage is not huge, but cozy. Many footpaths. This is Tudor County so many period properties and pubs nearby. Indeed our Estate was once owned by Thomas Boleyn, then Mary Boleyn after the beheading of her sister Anne in 1533. #puncheurplace

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Welcome to our lovely hut on a 16th century farm in Kent. We are off the B2027 near Hever, Bough Beech reservoir and surrounded by beautiful footpaths for walks and local pubs for good food. We have chickens & bees; very friendly! The hut is 50m from the house but very private. We have a log burner & a fire pit/BBQ, we provide logs & fire-starters. There is no cooking in the hut. Guests have their own garden to enjoy in the summer or a wood burner inside to cosy up to in winter. Situated in the countryside, a short drive to Tunbridge Wells. There are a huge range of activities and sights nearby including the lovely Penshurst Place. There are also so many fantastic places to eat and drink giving guests a lot of options to keep busy.

A stone’s throw from Hever Castle or Chiddingstone, short drive to Chartwell or Penshurst. Book supper at The Wheatsheaf, Bough Beech, 3 min walk, or use the compact kitchen and settle in for a night of cards or puzzles under the stars. Teas, ground coffee and milk supplied.
