We built the Tiny Guest House for friends and family and love sharing the space with people traveling to Bellingham. The studio is within walking distance of both WWU (1.0 mile) and downtown (0.8 miles). The Guest House is quite small (200sf), it has a queen bed in the loft and a full sized futon on the main floor. And no kitchen.
“I loved this tiny home! It was really close to everything in downtown Bellingham which I loved. I expressed concerns about covid and they responded with their cleaning routine which made me feel much more comfortable. They are great communicators and the responses were prompt and kind. I spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying great beers from Bellingham breweries. I had a wonderful time :) I’ll be back.”
Cozy guest home by Lake Whatcom. Adjacent to our home. Outdoor hot tub, in nice neighborhood but tucked into an acre of woods. Parking, and outdoor fire to enjoy. All smoking outside. You can come as late as you want. We are always available but backyard for you so you have the utmost privacy - easy check in/out. We really want you to feel like you are home! Previously certified Home Care Aid who cleans the home has professional training and thoroughly disinfects the home before each stay.
“Wow, what a gem! I’ve stayed in countless Airbnbs and this is probably my favorite. Heather was an outstanding host. The woods behind the house made for a fun, campy feel without the tent. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate which we used to cook most of our meals while we stayed there. The hot tub and fire pit created the perfect night. We wish we could live there!”
Renovated classic home located in the quiet and friendly Columbia neighborhood, a mile or less from downtown Bellingham. Next to beautiful Elizabeth park with many trees and community concerts on Thursday evenings in the summer. From various windows one can see Sehome Hill, Mt Baker, St James church and the Bay.
“Thank you for hosting us at your beautiful place. Our stay was great and exceeded our expectations. As a woodworker, I couldn't stop noticing the superb details in the craftsmanship of your home. The decor, colors and finishes of the place are excellently curated, and you have done a great job maintaining everything as close to period as possible. Fabulous! Everything was phenomenal.”
