Close to Amsterdam, Volendam, Hoorn, Purmerend and even the beaches are 45 minutes away. There is excellent public transportation in the village. At the end of April, there are the bulb fields, there are many in the Beemster, and of course in the middle of the beautiful Beemster. Ideal for hiking and biking.

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Within half an hour you'll be in the centre of Amsterdam but also in Alkmaar, Volendam, Zaanse Schans. We offer you a spacious private guest house in a beautiful surrounding. You'll have a lot of privacy and the owner is happy to inform you and make it as comfortable as possible. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo business travelers and families (with children).

How nice of you to be interested. We are happy to give you tips: Come and see the museum mill, enjoy hiking, biking, boating, fishing or drive to the beach in 30 minutes. Do you sleep in the extra long electric box spring or cozy in the bunk bed? Even the sofa can be folded out as a sofa bed for a relaxed TV evening + massage chair.
