BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Your 80 square meter apartment has a bright living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms and a shower and tub bathroom. The apartment is centrally located on the promenade and you can enjoy a fantastic view of the city harbor and the castle from the balcony, which you can reach in a few minutes on foot. The nearby city center attracts with theaters, museums and many gastronomic facilities. Your car can be parked in the underground garage upon request. Viezer Mühle Country House

You will stay in a simple but charming miller's house of a historic watermill, surrounded by a spacious property in the small village of Viez in Mecklenburg. Right outside the door are hiking trails through forest, fields and to the Viezer Heide, which blooms pink in summer. Schwerin and Ludwigslust offer sights such as castles and museums. Several bathing lakes, one with a water ski facility, offer sporting variety in summer. In winter, a wood-fired barrel sauna directly on the stream beckons.

Schwerin villa with garden

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

We rent a cozy, friendly, bright apartment on the 2nd floor of an old building with 2 bedrooms (1x160 bed, 1x 140 bed), great kitchen and bathroom with shower & bathtub. The sofa in the living room offers a sleeping option (squeaks a bit). The small town of Hagenow lies between the "Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve" and the "Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve", and the cities of Ludwigslust and Schwerin can also be reached quickly by train. The Baltic Sea is only 1 hour away by car.

The bathing lake with sandy beach and sunbathing lawn is approx. 50m away. A place to relax and unwind! Surrounded by beautiful nature with many excursion destinations in the area.

Apartment "Gardenview" just outside Schwerin

In front of the Schwerin gates is our over 100-year-old residential building with adjoining new building with two individually designed apartments. The "Gardenview" is suitable for both business and individual travelers. It is located on the 2nd floor and offers a light-flooded living room with a king-size bed, desk and small dining area with high chairs. An adjoining kitchen, as well as a separate shower room complete the apartment with garden views.

Landhaus bei Schaalsee

Haus is located in a very quiet location in the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. It is 10 km to Lake Schaalsee, 5 km to Lake Neuenkirchen, to the Baltic Sea 50 km (traffic jam-free!!!). The house can be started directly to bike rides, on adjacent hiking trails. On the very natural property there is also a swimming pond. The house is very bright and quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is a large easel available. Pets have generous time.

This special property is located in a listed villa in the row at the Pfaffenteich directly in the center of Schwerin. Attractions, shopping and several lakes are close by and within walking distance. The apartment was newly furnished in June 2023 and offers 2 bedrooms and a stylishly furnished living room with lake view. In the staircase there is a balcony from which you can enjoy the sunsets at Pfaffenteich.
