Welcome to our charming cottage on Haukøy! This cozy cabin is the perfect place to stop if you are on your way to Lofoten, Steigen, Narvik or want to experience Norway's national mountain Stetind. The location is ideal, with proximity to Skarberget -Bognes and Kjøpsvik- Drag ferry connection, making it easy to explore the beautiful northern Norway. There is a washing machine, dishwasher and Wi-Fi in the cabin, as well as bed linen and towels. From June 2026, it will be possible to rent our Pioner 13 with outboard motor.

After being a host in Oslo since 2011, I have renovated this cabin far up north where I was born, and my family still live. With loads of Scandinavian design objects, it also comes equipt with everything you might need or didn't know you needed to make your stay epic! 2 bikes, 2 fishing rods and fancy coffee gear is also free for you to use. The location is in the middle of the local village, and the view and space are spectacular. Enjoy the midnight sun and northern lights in this modern cabin.

We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/ houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea , the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

New Joker shop in the surrounding area, several hiking trails, halibut museum, national park, inland and sea fishing, boat rental nearby. 2 hours by car from Bardufoss airport. 1 hour drive to Finnsnes. 1 hour by fast boat to Harstad. 3 mattresses upstairs in the loft in addition to the two bedrooms. The “Helge Ingstad”Cabin has been decorated and set-up with ever attention to detail to make your evenings with us comfortable and relaxed. Lovingly furnished with drift wood and natural materials the cabins accommodate five to six people. We have a sauna near the river (additional for 450NOK). Our three cozy log cabins „Helge Ingstad Hytte“, „Eivind Astrup Hytte” and "Wanny Woldstad Hytte" are all to rent on Airbnb.
