Motherby House

Motherby House is an 18th century grade II traditional farmhouse, the house has lost none of its original charm. Hooks embedded in oak beams show where bacon was once cured and log fires add to the warm homely atmosphere. Families are always welcome. Unwind and relax in our oak beamed living room with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and a selection of home made cakes. There is off road parking and secure storage for cycles. The hamlet of Motherby, is positioned between Penrith and Keswick.

A bright living area features a comfortable cream-colored seating arrangement, complemented by decorative cushions. Comfy room in quiet and convenient area

Quiet place close to Edinburgh in a very convenient location, very near the city centre but in local and quiet neighbourhood. You have many things around and the views from your room are of the beautiful Pentland Hills. Nice for people travelling to explore Edinburgh and around, having a stop over to/ from the Highlands or for newcomers to Edinburgh while searching for a permanent place where to stay. The bed can be arranged as a single or double room, according to the number of guests.

Twin Room with Breakfast

Our village is at the west end of Loch Tay and there is much to see around here alone, warranting a couple of nights stopover if our guests have the time to explore. Our twin room is located on the first floor up a flight of stairs. It has two standard single beds and a washbasin in the room as well as a hospitality tray with refreshments. A separate bathroom is allocated to this room which is about 3 meters away. A bathrobe is provided as are complementary toiletries.

The exterior of a historic, four-story building is displayed, featuring intricate architectural details and a row of pointed gables. Large windows offer a glimpse into the interiors. The façade showcases a blend of light and dark stone, harmonizing with the surrounding urban environment.

Situated in a quiet residential area but a short walk to amenities - I offer a lovely twin room with desk area and window overlooking the local park. The property is under ten minutes walk from the Crosshill train platform which is less than 10 minutes from the city centre. Hampden Park (Scotland's National Stadium) is less then 10 minutes walk so very convenient for gigs and sports games.

This is a private bedroom with private entry in a house that is part of our charitable Eco Farm estate. The property is located in the historic accessible town of Lesmahagow, which offers excellent transport and cultural links. Travelling by car we are 30 minutes from Glasgow and an hour from Edinburgh, in addition to being 20 minutes from the World Heritage Village in New Lanark.
