Opende is located in the Friese Wouden. The Airbnb is on our property on the border of Groningen and Friesland. Hiking and biking are possible in the nearby nature reserves Alde Feanen, Bakkeveen, Beetsterzwaag and Lauwersmeer. A day trip to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog is also easy to do. Culture can be found in Groningen, Leeuwarden and Heerenveen (about 25 min). Surhuisterveen is about 2 km away and has a shopping center with supermarkets, restaurants and all kinds of shops. You must arrange breakfast yourself.

Tiny house Bij de borg

Upstairs in the Netherlands, near the Wadden Coast, you will find this sustainable and energy-neutral tiny house. The cottage is decorated with love and in great detail. Everything you need is available. It is completely made of wood and has a surface area of 30m². The tiny house is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by a natural garden. This gives it a wide view with lots of privacy. The tranquility and space in this cute cottage feels like a real experience, a place to dream away!

Nature cottage the Twadde Hûske

Het Twadde Hûske is a cozy, colorful and comfortable apartment (with air conditioning) that can be booked for max. 5 people + possibly a baby. The Twadde Hûske has a soothing view over the meadows, located on a private road, with a nice terrace equipped with lounge chairs and a picnic table. Equipped with air conditioning (for heating and cooling) and underfloor heating. It is, in my humble opinion (+ that of the many guests), the most complete Airbnb you can find. Garden room 't Strunerke

Come and stay in the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. This area is known for its many alder groves. A beautiful green environment, with many cycling and hiking trails. Located on the N358, you will be on the road again in no time for a visit to the Wadden Islands or the eleven cities in Friesland. Our garden borders the meadows of Staatsbosbeheer and has a wide view. With a bit of luck, you'll see the deer walking. For 15.00 euros per person per night, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Come and enjoy our beautiful spacious apartment, partly furnished with vintage furniture. The furniture can change; I love change. It is wonderful to relax on the large lounge sofa in the spacious garden! The indicated price is valid for 2 people. You have access to 1 bedroom. If you come with more people ( Max 2 extra) than money an additional cost for an extra room of €40,- p.p. Spot the stork in the field, looking for prey, and with a bit of luck, you might even see a deer!

We've not seen such a great naturehouse before! In the beautiful green and quiet surroundings of Eén (Drenthe) next to Roden and Norg you'll find Buitenhuis Duurentijdt. This is a luxury vacationhome with all the amneties for a modern day vacation has two big bedroom and two wonderful bathrooms. The living room features a woodstove. There is TV, wifi and fast fiber internet. Around the house there are two terraces and a magnificent view of the lake! A wonderful place to relax.

We have a guesthouse that can have a beating, in that sense, no modern and sleek decor, but because I am very much for recycling, we also often furnished the apartment with used items. For children often especially a paradise We will never join the program B&B on TV. Guests should take us as we are, A farm in operation where they work very hard, every day, and where there is sometimes a straw or water puddle on the property. Imagine yourself back in time.
