This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee you can sleep in, have been preserved. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower at an additional cost, you can relax wonderfully.

In 2020, the former stable of a Saxon farm was rebuilt into a spacious, comfortable, walker-friendly vacation home for up to 8 people. Located in Ansen, within walking distance of the Dwingelderveld National Park. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and spacious living room with open kitchen. The house is equipped with a dishwasher, combination microwave, washer/dryer combination, 3 TVs, refrigerator, freezer, induction cooktop and spacious kitchen inventory. High chair/cot upon request

Huisje Achter de Linden is located just outside the center of Dwingeloo. 5 minutes walk and you are on the cozy Brink van Dwingeloo. There are shops, terraces, restaurants and various weekly and seasonal markets. Our centrally yet quietly located accommodation is cozy and decorated with an eye for detail. You imagine yourself back in time but with all the comforts and comforts of today. The Dwingelderveld National Park is nearby. There you can enjoy cycling, hiking and bird watching.

Hof van Onna

A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Our cottage is situated right on the border of National Park 'Dwingelderveld'. Imagine yourself watching out over the meadows. Gazing at the star lit sky at night while enjoying a bonfire. Or spend a lovely evening inside in front of the fireplace. The cottage was recently renovated and fitted with all the amenities you could wish for. It has a fenced of spacious garden. Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. You'll find us in Eemster, just 3km from Dwingeloo, at a quiet road nearby 3 large naturereserves. Biketours and hikes starts from the house. Aldo and i hope to see and welcome you!
