Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Ons zelf ontworpen vakantiehuisje met 2 slaapkamers ligt op 45 minuten rijden van Amsterdam, midden in de velden. Gelegen op een kleinschalig particulier parkje waar wij ook nog een ander vakantiehuisje verhuren, genaamd; Familie Buitenhuys. Vanuit de woning kijk je uit over de velden en dijk aan het Markermeer: Nederland in zijn puurste vorm! De woning is gericht op comfort (er is vloerverwarming) maar met leuke, eigenzinnige details en een speelse indeling. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.

Renovated old farmhouse near the IJsselmeer

Geniet van rust, ruimte en gezelligheid in deze authentieke stolpboerderij. Onze boerderij is gebouwd in 1904 naar West-Fries model, en heeft naast boerderij gediend als garniturenwinkel. Toen wij de boerderij kochten was hij 116 jaar oud, en had het nodige achterstallige onderhoud. Stukje bij beetje renoveren we het huis, zo heeft het nu weer goed functionerende verwarming! De opbrengst van Airbnb stoppen we weer in het huis, zo zijn we nu aan het sparen voor het renoveren van het dak.

In het mooie West-Friesland te Oostwoud verhuren wij een 4-persoons vakantiehuis genaamd "Hazeweel". Deze vakantiewoning bevindt zich op een klein vakantiepark. Het is gelegen aan doorgaand vaarwater met mooi uitzicht en privacy. Hazeweel is een knus, modern, ruim opgezet huis voorzien van een moderne keuken en volledig ingerichte badkamer én 2 slaapkamers. Mooie ruime zonnige tuin voorzien van terrasmeubels. Er is mogelijkheid om een visboot er bij te huren.

Relax and unwind in our detached cottage in a natural setting, right next to the church in the heart of Oostwoud! Enjoy the vistas over the farmyard and the fields towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Look out over through fishing and waterways. Rent a boat or a sup and hit the water! Nature reserve "the egbutzwater" is nearby and the beach the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere here!
