Cabin for rent in Tappeluft, about 8 miles from Alta.

Here there is good opportunity for hunting, fishing and mountain hiking just nearby. The area has many hiking trails of different levels of difficulty and length. In the winter there are good opportunities for all skiing and snowmobile activities with slopes nearby. Øksfjord is located about 30 km from the cabin and there you can take the ferry over to Sørøya which is Norway's largest island with no mainland connection. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

Studio apartment/dorm

Cozy little studio of 21 sqm, with private entrance, private bathroom. Kitchen and bed are in the living room. The kitchen contains a stove, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, coffee/tea and equipment. 150 cm double bed, bed linen and towels are included. Possibilities for washing clothes upon agreement. - Bus stop is 2 min away - About 30 minutes walking distance to the city center - Approx. 7-10 minutes by car to Alta Airport. As we have children in the house, there may be noise and we can assist with a rental car.

Sørstraumen View

Welcome to Sørstraumen View which is near E6 but still secluded. The cabin is close to the sea, with lovely views in all directions, including to Storstraumen, which is a very good fishing area. The area around the cabin is open and a good starting point for walking, hunting and fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin with parking. A small grocery store is also available nearby, where you can buy most of what you need. The cabin is cozy, with three small bedrooms and sleeps 5.

Tappelufteidet, between Tappeluft and Øksfjordbotn

Charge the batteries at this peaceful and family-friendly place. Wonderful location close to spectacular mountains and outdoor areas; sea and mountains, hikes, fishing lakes, hunting grounds, skiing, and snowmobile trails. Veranda with a fire pit, dining area and spa. Playhouse with a slide for the children, sled mat, and steering sled. Snow blower and lawnmower available when needed. In the outhouse, you'll find firewood. The cabin has running water, electricity and fiber optic internet.

Beautiful view of the Alta valley. Two bedrooms with double bed in each room. Bathroom. No place to store luggage outside of stay. -Mini kitchen with cooking facilities. -No oven (stove) -Microwave oven -No washing machine. -Big porch. Steep and narrow stairs to the attic.Access to nature for walks in the summer and skiing in the winter. Great conditions for northern lights. 10 minutes walk to the university and 15 minutes to the city center where among other things the shopping are.

Henrybu Comfortable house by the fjord.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)

Its only fifteen minuts by car to Skjervøy where you can go on a whale- and orcas safari. Big mountain for hiking and skiing around. Driveable to the front door. Big open kithen/livingroom. 2 bedrom (3-for extra). Large bathroom with sauna, large tub and shower. Apple tv, wifi and built in AC/heatpump. Max guests 7 persons.

Hytta har høy standard med innlagt vann og strøm. 3 soverom, 6 sengeplasser. Hytten ligger nært havet og har en fantastisk utsikt. Her kan du sitte i stua og se på nordlyset eller midnattsola. Rikt fugleliv vår-høst. 20 min. med bil unna Storslett sentrum. Her finner man både butikker, restauranter.

Discover the the Arctic Finnmark Alps in Jøkelfjord! (Glacierfjord) Very little light pollution gives great potential for Northern Lights watching, and whales often visit Oct–Jan. No guarantees, but lucky guests spot them from the warm sofa. The area offers excellent skiing opportunities.
