The nest

Once called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's hut served as a kitchen and dining room. It was there that the milk was transformed into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbors ,and where social life was tied up.Tools,seeds, harvests ,were also stored in the arbec. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a sense of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

La Pinta è un’Abitazione d’epoca situata a pochi passi dalla via principale e allo stesso tempo in un vicolo silenzioso e riservato. La casa, considerata una delle più belle del paese, è stata finemente ristrutturata nel totale rispetto del paesaggio, arricchita da particolari di classe, e dotata di ogni confort. Babrou's Farmhouse

Right in the heart of the Drome Valley, our secluded house is two kilometers from the village of Saillans. From GR trails, it offers a breathtaking view of Les Trois Becs. Our agricultural activity blends with a rich nature and promotes biodiversity. The sheep graze around the house from October to May and some go to alpine during the summer period. We produce yogurt and sheep cheese during the low season.
