This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. 100 years old farmhouse with 7 bikes

The holiday house is located on the North Holland Canal. The house is not very quiet, but cozy and centrally located to Alkmaar, Bergen and Schoorl. Very suitable for girlfriend clubs, bike clubs and families, who do not want to sit in a holiday park. The house has many original details, which makes it atmospheric and characteristic. The house is connected to the owner's house, but there is plenty of privacy and a spacious private garden.

Art & Tatra (Art of Lida and Cees cars)

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
