The steel sloop with electric outboard motor is ready for departure. Our houseboat is located on an offshoot of the Pikmeer with views over the water, the skyline of the water sports village of Grou, the Pikmeer and the island "de Burd". Enjoy the peace and privacy of the island with only a 5-minute boat ride to the cozy village of Grou.

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. Enjoy the glamour of this stylish, upscale place. Welcome to the website of B&B JenS oan de Boarn. We, Jan and Sieuwke de Kam, started a B&B aan de Boarn in 2022. Now that our farm has been sold after 42 years, we are looking for new challenges, and this B&B is one of them. The B&B is located on several hiking trails, including the Jabikspad and the Groot Frieslandpad. In addition, the nature reserve "de Deelen" can be reached by bike.
