Cozy Hostel Loft bed #2 with Free Breakfast

At the top of the stairs is a "loft" area. It contains three single beds. You have full access to all the amenities the Inn has to offer: linens, towels, shampoo, soap, 2 kitchens. Breakfast is self serve at your convenience. We provide everything necessary for you to cook your own meal. Breakfast includes pancakes and waffles, and coffee. This area can be a little more noisy since it is located at the top of the stairs and people mingling in the area below are unaware of your location.

Hostel Bunk 1 - Girdwood

The bunk room at Alyeska Hostel in Girdwood is great for budget travelers who don't mind sharing space. Linens and blankets provided, NO SLEEPING BAGS ALLOWED. There is a common kitchen which is shared, and 2 bathrooms with showers. It's a 1 mile walk to Alyeska Resort, or a half mile to the shuttle stop . There are many summer and winter outdoor activities to enjoy in Girdwood. Moose and bear are common sights so please keep trash and food secure. Please drive slowly, (20mph or less).

Bed in Male Dorm "Wolf"

The "Wolf" is a male-only dorm cabin, a great place for travelers to rest their heads. It features 5 comfortable twin beds and one bunk bed. You get access to all communal areas. We provide a heater for cooler nights, along with internet access and a small deck for hanging out. The "Wolf" tent cabin is conveniently located nearby the shared bathrooms, showers, and kitchen. This accommodation is a fantastic opportunity to meet other travelers and socialize in a communal setting.

Billie was born and raised in Fairbanks and has lived in this location more than 50 years. She personally welcomes guest from all over the world, where they meet, share travel adventures, and create lasting memories. It is here that you will be made to feel right at home no matter where you are from or where you are going.

The "Lynx" Cabin

Lynx is our newest and most spacious private cabin, fully renovated in 2025. It features a king-size bed and a twin-size futon that doubles as a couch and can be made up to sleep a third guest for $20. This cabin is perfect for couples, small families, or friends looking for a peaceful and cozy stay, with plenty of room to relax and recharge after a day of adventure. This cabin is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your furry travel companion!

Cozy Cabin w/bathroom and kitchen

A stand alone cabin with modern amenities provides a comfortable warm space to relax in Girdwood. Enjoy a private bathroom with hot shower, a natural gas hearth, and a full kitchen all ready for your visit. Best for couples, but sleeps up to 4, with 1 Queen bed and 2 single bunks. Note, the bunks are high and are recommended for children. $25 per guest after 2. Pet Fee is $25 per night. Self check in is available.

Moby Dick Lodging Room with Kitchenette

This private lodging room has a double and a twin (single) bed. A cot can be added if needed, but it will be tight. You have your own kitchenette, with a stove, a mini-fridge, and a sink. Pots, dishes, silverware and cooking utensils are provided. All you have to bring is your own food. The room offers a view of Resurrection Bay. You share the bathroom with one other room. There is no TV.

Treehouse - "Indiana Jones"

Adventure awaits in the "Indiana Jones" Treehouse, tucked 10 feet up in the trees. Styled like a classic Alaskan trapper tent outside, its warm, inviting interior features a comfy queen-size bed, modern furniture, and unique art. Step onto your covered deck to enjoy the midnight sun and forest views. An extra bed (camping-style cot bed) can be added for $20. This cabin is dog friendly.
