The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic cozy cabin on the top of the mountain. A basecamp ready for your Palomar adventures. This is a tiny home, 19' x 11' (bedroom 11x11ft). Max sleeping capacity: 2 adults and one child under age 5, packnplay upon request. Valley views are from guest accessible property, not directly from the cabin porch. Max 2 dogs stay free - disclose bringing them. $100 cat cleaning fee on top of our $50 cleaning fee, we charge $200 if you fail to disclose your cat(s).

Our private casita is surrounded by open space, beautiful views, horses and plenty of peace and quiet. We’re about 15 minutes from Temecula Wine Country and 25 minutes from Old Town. Wanting to bring your horse? For a small fee, we have stalls available to rent during your stay, trailer parking and access to nearby riding trails. Spend the day exploring, then come back, relax and enjoy the sunset.
