An Cala, Benderloch

An Cala is a cosy cottage in a rural location in the village of Benderloch, within only 20 minutes' drive of Oban. There are sandy beaches within easy walking distance. The Fort William to Oban cycle path passes right outside the garden gate. The village has a convenience store and seasonal cafe, which are just 2 minutes' walk away. This is an ideal base for exploring the West coast of Argyll. Ferries run from Oban to various islands, and the mountains of Glencoe are 45 minutes to the North.

This renovated one bedroom flat is situated in a historic building in the centre of Oban. It is located on the first floor with views to front and rear through large windows. It is ideal for visitors who want the convenience of staying in the town, with all facilities, shops and transport links within a couple of minutes walk. We’re also just ten minutes from Oban (the gateway to the Western Isles) and right next to the National Cycle Route from Oban to Fort William.

Interesting local hikes, close to many beauty spots and attractions, 15 minute drive to the busy town of Oban, 45 minute drive to Fort William. There is a cycle track just across the road which goes almost all the way to Ballahulish (9 miles from Fort William).

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.

The apartment is ideal for a couple. Everyone welcome! A perfect location for going into Oban, up north, down the coast or inland. Great for walkers, guests interested in history, wildlife - we can see seals and otters from the apartment - and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a decking area and you are also welcome to use our patio which is a sun trap.

Modern, characterful cottage in quiet Highland village with easy access to the best of the West Highlands including Oban, Fort William, Inverary and Glen Coe. At the end of the road is the historical Bonawe furnace and a short walk to the jetty and pier on Loch Etive where the otters live and the seals can regularly be seen.
