Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Chalet in Hensbroek, on the edge of a quiet park. On both sides of the chalet is a terrace, so you can enjoy the sun all day. Chalet is renovated, refurbished and 50 m2 in size. Nearby is Hensbroekermeer, where you can swim in the summer. There is a tennis court in the holiday park that can be used free of charge. Netflix, WiFi and linens are included in the price. There is a Nespresso coffee machine. The only way to reach the chalet is by car because public transportation is limited

With great enthusiasm, we have renovated our old mansion and restored it to its original state. On the bell floor, we have created an apartment that we now rent out. Step outside into the picturesque streets and canals and take a walk in the city park around the corner. On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.
