Accommodation in a newly renovated apartment in Bavorská Ruda. Beautiful surroundings near the ski resort Velký Javor (Großer Arber), about 10 minutes by car. In the area, it is also possible to go hiking and cycling, or cross-country skiing. The apartment is ideal for couples or families with children. Sleeping is provided on a 160cm folding bed, an 80cm upper bunk, and possibly a folding extra bed for a fourth person. Nearby are grocery stores, or several restaurants and cafes. Free parking in front of the house.

We have been building and tinkering for a long time, and now it is finished: Our vacation chalet in the middle of the most beautiful Bavarian Forest. A cottage where we like to vacation ourselves: a large living room with a comfortable couch, cozy corner bench and a fully equipped kitchen. Solid wood beds from the carpenter with premium mattresses. Two spacious bathrooms with rain showers and a sauna for the gray days. And in summer, a large garden with mountain views, sun loungers and a grill all to yourselves.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer einst architektonischen wegweisenden großen Ferienanlage aus den 70ern (Die Bauwelt von 1973 liegt im Apartement aus). Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in an absolutely idyllic location. Enjoy the unique view at 800 m altitude into the Bavarian forest and the Gäuboden. You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the property. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with observation tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can follow a stream to the peaks. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.

Small but nice with a view of the Danube

The small room is partly furnished with antiques and is located in the old ship's post office of 1805 opposite the castle, with an interesting museum directly on the Danube. The garden can be used by our guests. Danube bike path leads past the house, in addition to the usual bus connection, there is also the possibility to transfer to Austria by ferry or to drive to Linz or Passau by steamer.

The train station is also an 8-minute walk away and even the two kilometers to the old town are felt to be just a stone's throw (10 minutes by car).
