Built in 1965, the house (3 rooms, kitchen, sauna, toilet) is located in Finnish Lapland in the natural and peaceful village of Kaukonen near Kittilä. Kaukosa is home to the famous Särestöniemi Art Museum. At Villa Magia, you can admire ceramics, unique clothes, and jewelry. In early June, Kaukos hosts the Silence Festival. Near Yllästunturi, Lainio has Snow Village, a snow village and hotel. The distance from the property is 40 km (35 min) to Levitunturi, 26 km to Yllästunturi and 20 km to Snow Village.

A Ski-in&out apartment completed in 2023 with two bedrooms and easy access to the ski tracks and slopes, hiking and cycling trails. The apartment has modern amenities and bed linen and towels are included. Both bedrooms have a double bed and plenty of closet space, a private sauna that heats up quickly, a private ski storage room, and a bike storage and ski maintenance room in the building. Kolari railway station and Kittilä airport approx. 40 km away, with bus/taxi connections. Welcome❄️✨

Located in a quiet outer district! Use of the private sauna is possible between 4 pm and 8 pm. Cost: 20 euros in cash or MobilePay per sauna session! Bath towels are ready in the sauna, you would have to bring your own shower shampoo! Report 2 hours in advance so I can prepare the sauna. Thanks! You can use the hot tub during your stay. For lighting with wood, to the desired temperature, you need about 6-8 hours. Cost: 40 euros for water and wood!

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Whether you're hiking or cycling, all activities can be found nearby! (Ylläs substation or Äkäslompolo). The nearest shop (the lovely Eli village shop) is 2 km away, which also has a beach and kayak/bicycle rental. There are many fair cafes nearby along various hiking routes. (Unfortunately, we don't have any photos of the interior yet, as we have just started renting.)
