“Ian and Sandra are an amazing host! They are very informative, responsive and the very thing I love are very considerate. There were a little trouble (considering we live in the nature), but they handle it perfectly! The place was cozy and comfortable. Definitely will stay there again when there’s a chance! Thank you for giving out a 5-stars hospitality service!”
Behind the facade of this retro beach complex is a fully renovated, light filled, spacious, modern and well furnished beach pad. keyless entry.Situated across from the beach this apartment has amazing views from all rooms. Slide back the doors to the balcony and relax to the sound of the waves and watch the boats go by. The kitchen has chef style appliances. Coffee , tea, long life milk and sugar is supplied. There is a draw with DVD's and CD's played through the plasma TV.
“This is a really great place to relax and watch the people on the beach go by. It has many windows to catch the sea breeze and keep it cool and fresh. The apartment is very clean and the bed is comfy. The bathroom is modern with plenty of storage space (press anything that looks like it might be a cupboard it will probably open). It also has a good rain shower (but you'll need a shower cap if you don't want wet hair). There are plenty of hangers in the wardrobe (always great to see), and an undercover parking space for shade. Access to beach is right across the road and it's a short walk along the sand to Ocean Beach surf lifeclub where there is always a safe place to surf (between the flags). We walked the 10 mins into Umina for cafes and restaurants. I'd recommend Margarita Daze which has a top spot on the beachfront. Others worth a short drive are the Boathouse Hotel at Patonga (a great place for lunch), the Boathouse Bar & Dining at Woy Woy, the Pearl Beach cafe, and Pearls on the Beach (for a pricey, but worth it, special occasion). The apartment had everything we needed - and more. Highly recommended.”
The Albion Guest House is a beautiful place for couples to relax and unwind within a coastal themed environment. This includes a private kitchenette, bathroom, living/dining areas and a spacious bedroom upstairs with a small ensuite. The pool, BBQ, outdoor entertaining area and laundry are shared with the couple living in the front house. A simple 10 - 15 minute walk can take you to the beach, many cafes, restaurants and an abundance of local shops. There are also markets every weekend nearby.
“Lisa & Rob have created a perfect haven for guests to relax & unwind. The little personal touches throughout make you feel “special” & cared about. The whole experience was just brilliant. Lisa has a great sense of style which shows in every aspect of her quest house. The sheets were crisp & white, the towels were expensive & lux. The bathrooms were sparkling as was the laundry & kitchen... from the Maxwell Williams crockery to the plentiful supply of cutlery, pots, pans, milk, bread, tomatoes, bacon, butter, juice, & mushrooms for brekkie. Not very often you get a full supply of laundry powder, washer, dryer & even beach towels, so, so good! Worth every cent. As for privacy, we could use any of the facilities surrounding the pool and veranda, it was all very private and welcoming. Not once did we feel like we were unwelcome... I would give this stay a 12 out of 10.. it’s just heaven on earth and Lisa & Rob should be very proud of the little oasis they have in Umina Beach. We will return, no doubt about it ✅🏝”
