The yurt is a modern, light, space with a deck. It's nestled between a mixed conifer forest and Starlight Meadow. We're at the end of a private road on 20 acres. The property is gated for your comfort and peace of mind. There's a large trampoline at the edge of the meadow perfect for stargazing and sunsets. The creek flows October thru June depending on rainfall. Six miles from Shady Cove where you'll find restaurants and a grocery store. 40 miles to Crater Lake. 26 to Ashland. Treat yourself!

This is a perfect stop off of I-5 during a road trip, or to enjoy a peaceful woodland getaway. The Old Farmhouse is just 5 minutes away from the Crater Lake National Park boundary. This is about as close as you can get to Crater Lake short of staying in the park at the lodge. (Note it is another 20-25 minutes of driving through the park to get to the top of the rim.) The Farmhouse is situated by open pastures and with an unobstructed view to the Cascade Mountain Range. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. No phone, no tv and no internet help you get away. Your cell may or may not get coverage here. (For urgencies, wifi/landline available in my main house). Private yurt with two shared bathrooms in an outbuilding. Please note, this is CAMPING with a bed. It can be hot, it can be cold, there may be bugs, there is no electricity, and no running water in the yurt.
