Thus, you can fully enjoy the afternoon/evening sun with a view of the Wegelnburg castle ruins. On foot, you can reach the nearby castle ruins of Wegelnburg, Hohenburg, Löwenstein and Fleckenstein via well-signposted hiking trails (e.g. Felsenland Sagenweg, Grenzgänger Weg).
