The Guesthouse Getaway was designed and constructed in 2008 to reflect the charm of the property's 1926 main house. Its elevated simplicity is welcoming and homey while still achieving that pristine quality you desire. This upscale lodging is situated in the West Hill's prominent Willamette Heights neighborhood where historic classics meet the urban edge. The best part? The place is all your own! No worries about whether the TV will wake your host; no sounds of snoring will come through the walls; no need to tippy toe around to keep from bothering light sleepers and there will be no wake-up blast of somebody else's alarm clock! Just sweet, sweet privacy. Lighted parking a few steps from the door makes for safe and easy access, and a four number key code allows for arrival at any hour without concern of disturbing your hosts. Enjoy as much tea and coffee as you need to stay comfortably caffeinated. If you're lacking something important like a specialty kitchen gadget, personal item or office supply, let me know I'm happy to help! The garage of the Guesthouse cottage serves as my artist (painting) studio, so I am generally working on the premises if you need me. The Guesthouse Getaway is in a fun area with over fifty exceptional restaurants within a mile of the home. Go for a hike in the surrounding nature, check out some of the breathtaking galleries, and catch a live sporting event or show in the evening. Walk to Scenic Beaches from a Lovely, Family-Friendly Home

Cozy up by the fire on a leather sofa in a den with classic panel molding walls and a wood beam ceiling. Upstairs, find a spacious dream bedroom with high knotty-wood ceilings, comfy furnishings, and a quaint balcony in this family-friendly home. We want you to rest assured that we maintain a very clean and sanitized home at all times. We follow the City & State mandates very closely during these unusual times. There will be plenty of supplies in the house for you to use to disinfect any areas, if you feel the need to. We hope you just relax and enjoy your time here! The home is set in a quiet area with easy walking access to the scenic views at the beach. A short drive away are many great restaurants, cafes, and shops. To walk to the Beach access from the House, simply turn right when you come out of the house on Mast Ave toward 21st. Turn right again on 21st & walk to the end ( 3 streets down) towards the Ocean. There are a large number of steps that take you down to the beach so if that's difficult for anyone you may want to try one of many other accesses by car, that will bring you directly onto the Beach.

Our apartment has one king sized bed and one twin size daybed in the bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. CableTV, Wifi, a small kitchenette, bath and 2-zone climate control. Please note kitchenette has a small 2 burner induction cooktop and is more suited to warming up leftovers than preparing a full dinner.
