With a terras Surrounded by old Dutch landscape with beautiful villages and 3! coasts at 15 km. Cities like Alkmaar and Enkhuizen are nearby, but Amsterdam is also not far away. How about a day of bird island Texel?! Schagen with all its restaurants and shops are 5 km away. Noord Holland Pad and bicycle junction are right around the corner. Golf course Molenslag at 250 meters! You are warmly welcome.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Our charming guesthouse has everything you need for a relax stay. Located on the countryside, surrounded by grassland and green, at a beautiful road with a tunnel of trees. You can reach the sea and beach of Callantsoog within 10 minutes. The closest small town with supermarket, bakery and restaurant is only 5 min. away. Visit Schagen with bars and restaurants, shopping and different kind of events in less than 10 minutes. Cheese-city Alkmaar is only 30 minutes away, and Amsterdam 1 hour.

Relax and slow down. In April tulip fields nearby. 35 minutes by car from Amsterdam. The apartment is 50m2 with separate bedroom, a workspace . Bicycles for a fee. The towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen have terraces and eateries. With beautiful cycling and hiking routes in the area. Nice terraces and eateries. Kitesurfing spot 10 minutes' drive away. Keukenhof 55 minutes by car. 3 minutes by car golf course Westwoud. New!! Porch with stove view on the garden and meadows. Entirely private!

Plenty of space in the sitting and dining area that you look into the garden from the kitchen. Under the veranda you can enjoy the view of the water tower of Wieringerwaard. It is a guest house with its own entrance attached to the owners' house. With an open staircase to a spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a separate toilet on the floor. Insect screens on the skylights. In consultation with the owners use of the spacious garden 1200m2 with unobstructed views.

House with stunning views and private garden.

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. Completely on your own. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and also its own garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Wonderful apartment to stay entirely on your own and enjoying the tranquility!

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.

Shaving bridge between city and beach

The village of Schagerbrug is located in the Kop van Noord-Holland, in the municipality of Schagen. Around the village you will find an open polder landscape in which you can hike and bike excellently. Not far west of Schagerbrug is a beautiful dune area, the Zwanenwater, in which you can relax well. A beautiful beach walk is of course also possible! A visit to Den Helder or Alkmaar is also one of the options.

't Achterend is a beautiful guesthouse in our North Holland farm, rural location in the village of Stroet, near the sea and forest... Unfortunately, our apartment is not suitable for children, due to the ditch on the property. It is also possible to rent electric bicycles! (15,- per bike per day) Direct WiFi connection for working from home.
