Our chalet has a wonderfully spacious terrace with multiple seats/hammock spots. If you want, you can sit in the sun until noon. There is also a lot of natural shade because it is on the edge of the forest, because it is the last chalet on a dead end lane. This also allows you to be completely private. Present: Crib. The chalet is located on a quiet campground with swimming pool and cozy canteen. From the property you can walk/cycle into nature. You can completely relax there.

Een prachtig houten huis gelegen op het erf van mijn ouders. Kom tot rust in een oase van groen van voorjaar tot begin najaar, een prachtig warm herfstgevoel wanneer de bomen van kleur veranderen of de knusheid opzoeken in de wintermaanden. In de prachtige omgeving zijn veel plekken te bezoeken. Giethoorn, vestingstad Steenwijk en de Havelterheide. Verder zijn er drie nationale parken in de buurt, NP Weerribben Wieden, het Drents Friese Wold en het Dwingelderveld.

Het Buitenlokaal - Master night in the Drenthe nature. Enjoy peace and space in a brand new cottage (August 2023) in our old school just outside Dwingeloo. The cottage is located in the former staff room which has been permanently converted into a luxury space for max. 4 people. (+ possibly 2 babies) The tourist villages of Dwingeloo and Diever are within cycling distance. You will stay near various nature reserves where you can cycle and walk for kilometers.

We do not offer breakfast service, your kitchen is fully equipped to take care of your inner self!

Sleep in the Hooiberg Dwingeloo

Located between the Dwingelderveld and the Drents Friese Wold, this cozy cottage is the ideal place to explore Drenthe by bike or on foot. The cottage "Slapen in de Hooiberg" is located on the cycling routes through the hamlet of Leggeloo. Dwingeloo and Diever are 3 km away with lovely terraces and restaurants.

New: Detached fully renovated guest house in the yard of a characteristic farmhouse from 1840. The house is located in the picturesque Ansen right next to the national park Dwingelderveld. The very cozy guest house has its own driveway that can accommodate two cars. Children from 14 are warmly welcome.
