Recently refurbished miners cottage in the hamlet of Hummerbeck, light and bright offering great comfort and easy access to many local attractions. Close to all the major supermarkets gives plenty of choice. The Byre is in an ideal place to explore County Durham, perfect for short breaks or longer stays. The farm sits in an elevated position boasting views across the Park land of one of England’s most historic Bishops’ Palaces, Auckland Castle. There are beautiful walks straight from your door, as well as easy access to the A1 to explore further afield.

A charming, and beautiful cottage set within a courtyard in an idyllic ten acre woodland location. The cottage is every inch the beautiful setting for a romantic break away. The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. Whilst it appears to be set in a remote rural location, it is in fact incredibly well-situated to be able to visit local attractions whilst being easily accessible from the main road: A1M . “A hidden gem definitely worth staying here!”

Newly converted stone Byre and Hemmel appointed to a very high standard. They are located on a working farm on the edge of the Durham Dales with amazing views and let as one. Byre: Log burner, dining and comfy living space with two bedrooms and bathroom. Hemmel: two bedrooms and wet room /toilet. Private parking and patio area with wood fired hot tub. Close to Durham, Barnard Castle, Teesdale and Weardale as well as the beautiful Northumberland Coast. Everything you could wish for and more!
