Luxury apartment with unbeatable views.

Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

Our apartment is named Truemmelbach. It is located in the Lauterbrunnen valley, just next to the highest waterfalls of the Alps. Lauterbrunnen is part of the jungfrau region. It is surrounded by the famous mountains called Jungfrau, Eiger and Schilthorn. You will stay in the ground floor of a 3 floor Swiss Chalet. From the huge private terrace, facing the south, you can enjoy the most spectacular view to the Swiss mountains and you will hear nothing but cowbells, sheeps & singing birds.

A well-lit bedroom features a spacious bed adorned with pillows and a striped mustard yellow throw. A colorful artwork hangs above the headboard. Soft curtains frame the window, which offers a view of the outdoors. A bedside table and dresser complement the room's modern design.

Chalet Schiltwald welcomes you to car-free Wengen (only accessible by a 12-minute train ride from Lauterbrunnen) in the beautiful Jungfrau region. We are located right at the finish line of the international Lauberhorn races. The Innerwenger chairlift - 20 meters behind the house - takes you to the ski resort. Our chalet is a 20-minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi from Wengen train station. Here is the starting point of countless beautiful hikes.

In front of the house there is also a bus stop. The bed in the studio can be reached via a ladder, on the cozy gallery you feel like Heidi. ☺️ The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to take care of yourself.
