Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

You’ll love my place because of Its proximity to town, the studio is a short 2 min walk from the Queen St shopping precinct, great cafes and restaurants and only a casual 5 min stroll to QEll Park. The two storied Studio is tucked in behind the 1879 cottage with its own private deck, comfortably appointed for couples seeking a Wairarapa getaway or business travellers needing a central location.

Some features The Snug includes are a composting toilet, a small wood burner for warmth, and it overlooks a medicinal herb garden and some friendly animals see photos.

Please bear in mind this is a Batch/lifestyle accommodation, and we don't charge for cleaning, the batch is always cleaned between guests and we always provide clean bedding and towels.

The Shed - a contemporary annex near the beach

A multi purpose contemporary space. It offers a seperate bedroom and bathroom. In the main living area there is a double size pull out sofabed and comfortable seating and dining plus a 75 inch smart TV and Sky TV. The bedroom has a small TV with a chromecast . Guests are welcome to use the outdoor area and spa pool. A continental breakfast is supplied. Close to beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We have 2 German Spitz dogs, very friendly

Hiwinui Cottage (circa 1890) is a completely private, self contained country cottage set in its own peaceful garden surrounded by 500 acres of attractive farmland. Centrally located between Martinborough, Featherston and Greytown. Ideal for a family holiday with plenty of rural charm. We do not have Wifi, unplug the kids for the weekend! Colourful decor, polished floors and woodburner give a very welcoming atmosphere.
