Ferienwohnung Strauß - At the heart of Franconia

In our multi-generational house we rent a separate, fully furnished one bedroom apartment. It is possible to place the beds in the bedroom separately, furthermore 1-2 people can stay on a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchenette is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. If you need any special utensils, please feel free to contact us! On the adjacent terrace, a separate sitting area invites you to sit.

Courtyard Apartment 1 - Gate to Paradise - 1 Bedroom

In the middle of the wine village of Weigenheim is our apartment with about 35 square meters, perfect for two people. Ideal starting point for cycling or hiking in the beautiful wine paradise of Franconia and the Steigerwald. A feeder to the Jacobsweg leads through the village. Rothenburg, Würzburg and Dinkelsbühl and Feuchtwangen can be reached in less than an hour by car. Nuremberg in about 1:15 hours.

Living in the castle 3rd floor

Spend idyllic days in a castle complex from the 16th /18th century. Schloss Seehaus offers a wonderful starting point for excursions to Rothenburg, Würzburg and Nuremberg, hikes or bike tours. The castle garden invites you to relax and friends of art, culture and wine will also get their money's worth. The price depends on the number of people staying overnight. Our bright and spacious apartment is ready to host after the renovation of the barn. In two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a beautiful living, dining and cooking area you can enjoy your vacation. Whether by bike, on foot or by SUP, along the Main you can spend many beautiful hours. Also the cities of Würzburg and Rothenburg as well as countless small Franconian wine villages are nearby.

Historic locksmith tower

The Schlosser Turm is part of the old city fortification from the 14th century. It is centrally located in the village and parking is available on site. Wi-Fi is also installed in this historic tower. The tower has been completely renovated and is available for booking from September 2020. It's an exceptional place to stay in the beautiful Tauber Valley.
